Caption: Part of what made this place so spectacular was it's complete seclusion. A 90 minute trip by boat from the mainland, Waya island is only inhabited by one tribe of locals and the resort. No restaurants, no gift shops, no cars. All heaven.

Caption: Kava Ceremony One of the coolest experiences ever. When new visitors arrive to the island, the traditional kava ceremony is performed by the local tribe leaders, who also perform traditional Fijian music. Ground up from a root found around the island, the kava liquid can have hallucinogenic effects if consumed excessively.
