Caption: Dubrovnik is a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea, in the region of Dalmatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist in the Mediterranean and in 1979 the city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Caption: The walls surrounding the old town of Dubrovnik were constructed during th 14th and 15th centuries but were continually extended and strengthened up until the 17th century. This complex structure, amongst the largest and most completed in Europe, protected the freedom and safety of a civilised and sophisticated republic that flourished in peace and prosperity for over five centuries

Caption: The 25 meter tall tower in the corner of the city wall is called Minceta Tower. This is were Khaleesi Daenerys tries to find the entrance to the House of the Undying where the dragons are imprisoned

Caption: After being in the old town for a while we took the cable car to the top of Mount Srd with amazing views. Unfortunately this mountain was the place of the Siege of Dubrovnik when Serbian and Montenegrin troops tried to conquer the city of Dubrovnik and destroyed big parts of the UNESCO Site, Old Town of Dubrovnik. Luckily the Croatian troops managed to save the city from total destruction in 1991
