Caption: I have taken many photographs in foggy conditions as seen in this small series... I've been asked on many occasions why I do so... I'm not sure what the definitive answer is but I can say it's just something I love doing... I always tend to gravitate towards more subtle colours. Fog naturally diffuses light and everything has less contrast. Colours are muted and solid objects are defined and isolated... I enjoy how it emphasises shape and form, creating a minimal feel to an image. I like to draw in addition to photography and tend to isolate things I sketch with colour or tone... I think the edges blur between mediums in my mind...
