Caption: A few years ago I started learning about all the benefits that come from dandelions. I tried some teas, I tried some wine, and I juiced some leaves. I liked it all! Dandelions contain vitamins A,B,C,and D along with minerals iron, potassium, and zinc. Herbalists have used it to detoxify the liver and gallbladder. The leaves are also good for kidney function.

Caption: You can use the roots for teas, the leaves for salads and juicing, and the blossoms for wine and syrup! You can also use the blossoms for massage oil. Dandelions contain properties that help with rheumatoid arthritis and joint pain.

Caption: All you have to do is add the blossoms to a jar about half way. Then fill up with oil reaching just over the blossoms. Cover with a muslin cloth and rubber band, and let it sit in a sunny window for a month.

Caption: Next...the sweet sweet nectar. I used a recipe off of examiner.com for dandelion syrup! It's very sweet, I used it in my tea and would like to drizzle some over biscuits. Yum.
