Caption: Sunday City Ride @cindy and I do most of our riding on nice road bikes in Santa Barbara. Today we switched it up big time and rode rented clunkers in NYC. Watch out for angry cabs, jay walking pedestrians, honking busses, selfie sticks, and reckless riders.
Caption: Our Route We started in Midtown renting bikes at 55th and 6th Ave. Head West to the Hudson River Greenway and then South to The World Trade Center. Cut across town on Warren Street, past City Hall, and then across the Brooklyn Bridge and the park below. Linger in the park and then back the way we came.

Caption: Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge always sounds so romantic... It's also pretty dangerous. It's very narrow, tons of people, selfie-central, and speeding bikes...
Back up the bike path, passing the IAC Building (home of Vimeo, Match, and more. @LKVSKY's first office building in NYC). At 54th Street we left the safety of the bike path to cross back thru midtown and return the bikes.
