This is my absolute favorite Xmas cookie recipe of all. It's of German origin and it only has 4 ingredients. With those ingredients you get incredible tastes; a bit of marzipan, merengue and macaroon all in one.
The only problem is that it's really really hard to stop eating once you've started....

Caption: MAKE DOUGH 1. Ground almonds in a food processor.
2. Whip egg whites until stiff
3. Add sugar and mix carefully until smooth
4. Set 1/3 of the meringue aside
5. Add ground almonds and cinnamon to the 2/3 part of the meringue and mix till you have a sticky dough
