Caption: Last weekend I set out for Indian Peaks Wilderness, intending to a quick trail run up Pawnee Pass and Pawnee Peak. That's not what happened.

But then I missed the turn up to Pawnee Pass...

Caption: Turns out I was actually headed up the Queens Way couloir to Apache Peak. Whoops!
But I wasn't that upset, because...

- took the wrong trail
- summited the wrong mountain
- did a technical couloir in trail runners on the way to the top
- broke both my poles on the way down
All in all, a top notch day in the wilderness.
