Caption: Last year my mom suddenly lost her hearing in one ear. Nobody thought much of it until she went to get a hearing aid, they suggested she get an MRI, they found a little brain tumor and we packed our bags for LA to get it removed.

Caption: 10 hours later she woke up in the ICU, Nauseous and dizzy and hurting.

Caption: It wasn't long before she was sitting up, eating and drinking.
Within 24 hours they moved her from the ICU to a hospital room.

Caption: The trip home wasn't much fun. Mom was "neurologically raw" so loud noises i.e. Airports, were bad news. Noise reducing headphones helped.

Caption: The End. We made it home, but mom still has a couple months of recovery before she is back to normal. So much to be thankful for, her hearing was saved, and she had an exceptionally fast recovery. And we didn't get in a car accident in LA!!
