Caption: _______ THE BEGINNING Surfers follow waves, freeriders follow the snow. A surftrip, living in a van for some months made me wanna live the vanlife while searching for snow as well. So I went on a mission to build the van that would make that possible...

Caption: _______ A SECOND LIFE... Searching for a car to convert, I stumbled upon a 24 year old firefightertruck and soon thought it should get a second life as a freeriders home on wheels... Allwheeldrive, just 18.000km on the clock and bullet prove mechanics for less money then some others cars rims... That should be the one!

Caption: imagining... It became two months of adventure, uncertainty about the outcome and a lot of figuring out and imagining, since I rather had an dream than an actual idea how to convert a car, but the vision kept me going...

Caption: _______ THE VAN The dream became a reality and it turned out amazing! Thanx to @gloryfy for the paintjob ;) We transformed the car into a moving mountain hut with a highroof and a skiholder and a chimney on the outside... A chimney? What for?...

Caption: _______ staying warm... Staying warm in low outside temperatures and getting your gear try for the next day is key to be able to live in the van for days and weeks in a row, so we thought a woodburning stove should do that really well... It does :)

We tried to use as
much natural Materials
as we could... the enterior
is made out of untreated
wood and sheepswool.
Nice for the environment
and definatly makes for a
nice feeling inside the van
The roof, the kitchen,
soundsystem and electrics
are used and bought
2nd hand. Electricity comes
from solar panels, thanx

Caption: _______ LIVING SPACE With 3 people we can travel and live comfortably, sleeping is cosy though and it's better to go with 3 people that really like each other. But maybe thats better anyway :)
