shots of the week /

22 - 28 July

This was a big week for adventures - and photos - as we were on holiday, and I’ve already shared four stories from this week with trips to Seacliff, Pittenweem, Elie, and St Andrews. So this #shotsoftheweek includes some my highlights from week 30 of 2019.

We’d been planning a trip to Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott, as the gardens are dog-friendly, and there’s a lovely woodland walk by the River Tweed. However, we visited on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. It was blisteringly hot when we got out the car, just too warm to be outside with Harris and Bracken - even here, in the shade of the woods, there was no air. So we left. We’re planning a return trip in autumn, once it’s cooler, so this is a ‘to be continued’…

the end.
