Yellowstone Lake is the largest body of water in Yellowstone National Park. The lake is 7,732 feet above sea level and covers 136 square miles with 110 miles of shoreline.

Old Faithful Geyser & Old Faithful Inn

Tip

Old Faithful erupts at intervals of between 35 to 120 minutes without fail. If you watch the prediction clocks, which are easily spotted, you can explore the historic Old Faithful Inn and even enjoy a meal or a beverage.

Biscuit Basin

EXPERIENCE

Follow the 1/4 mile boardwalk on a self-guided tour through Biscuit Basin, which got its name from the biscuit-like deposits that once surrounded the bright blue water of the Sapphire Pool.
