Galway • Ireland

On my adventure through the Wild Atlantic Way, we stopped in Galway for a quick walk up the colorful Quay Street.....

.....,and for lunch at Ard Bia at Nimmo’s

This Michelin restaurant is inside the 18th-century Custom House near the Spanish Arch. Ard Bia means “High Food” in Irish.

The restaurant interior has been restored with paintings by local artists and up-cycled vintage furniture.

The menu is Inspired by many cuisines including Irish with a focus on fresh seafood with touches from the Middle East, India, and New Zealand,  Start with a Jamu! Tumeric, ginger & lemon shot to shake off the late nights and any rainy weather Our group also enjoyed a refreshing jug of the seasonal cordial that was flavored with Elderflower.
