Biking on the Waterford Greenway

When I was in Ireland I took part in a grand experiment to document 24 hours of a day in the life of Ireland as part of an honored group of Steller Storytellers. My day kicked off with a bike ride along the Waterford Greenway.

Here we go!

The Waterford Greenway covers 46km along an old railway line from Waterford to Dungarvan.

You can rent bikes from Greenway Waterford Bike Hire, who also provides a shuttle service if you don’t want to go out and back.

Along the way you will find fairy doors and a fairy village.

Further down the path you can ride across trestle bridges and through a train tunnel.

You can rent bikes and explore on your own or take a guided tour.

Thank you Greenway Waterford Bike Hire and Tourism Ireland! #digitalireland #loveireland #bestofireland #irelandsancienteast
