During blossom time in May, harvest time in October and November, through to Christmas, Highbank offers an insight into a small scale Irish organic food producer. We visited the orchard in spring where the orchard had started to bloom. Rod introduces this tree as Katie.

Steeped in medieval history the 17th century stonebuilt coachyard with its small distillery offers a backdrop to tasting the organic orchard syrup,juices, organic ciders and apple spirits all produces directly from the orchards.

Tasting the products made in the orchard in their cafe and we were treated to some music during it.

You have to try this - I loved it on my porridge for breakfast earlier that morning.
