It’s been now since mid August that the first leaves turned yellow on the trees in Vancouver. The end of autumn is near and winter is close. Unfortunately, I did not have much time to shoot the season changing this year. So I thought I would share a story from last fall, spent at Buntzen Lake...

Turning Point. The rain was stopping and the Sky was clearing out.

Under the green roof

She picked the one she wants

Being an artificial lake with a power plant, Buntzen closes at dusk. You’ll a siren that signifies to leave the park. Meanwhile, a ranger will patrol the park. Those next shots were taken before the ranger told us to leave..

The fog is taking over Buntzen Lake

Hope you enjoyed that story. If you’re leaving in Vancouver, I hope this will make you revisit this beautiful piece of land. For the rest, if you’re ever visiting Vancouver, I’d suggest stopping by Buntzen lake to see with your own eyes the most photograph boathouse of the Pacific Northwest! See you out there!
