YOGYAKARTA

Hey there, How are you? - A little background story about me. Im a professional photographer from Indonesia and like most photographer i LOVE to travel, i focus more on Culture, People and Landscape. - Here is My Sumba Story ( All photos are taken by Me using a7s, IR camera and Iphone 7+ )

Yogyakarta is a city on the island of Java in Indonesia, As the only Indonesian royal city still ruled by a monarchy, Yogyakarta is regarded as an important center for classical Javanese fine arts and culture such as batik textiles, drama, literature, music, poetry, silversmithing, visual arts, and wayang puppetry. There are several flights a day from Jakarta and the cheapest way to reach Yogyakarta is by Train. Just a suggestion use the plane because flight ticket to yogyakarta cost around 30 usd and train cost around 17 usd not much but train takes 8 hours while plane only takes 1 hour 20 minutes

In Yogyakarta i suggest to rent a motorbike or a car because the fun part of yogyakarta is 1 hour away in Mount Kidul area and its not going to be cost effective if you use taxi.

Prambanan Temple

Ratu Boko Temple ( good place to enjoy Sunset )

Taman Sari

Abdi Dalam, Keraton Yogyakarta

All the Photos in the previous pages are all the location near the city area so you can use taxi or use becak ( 3 wheel bike ) or delman ( horse carriage ). The next pages are quite far from the city center so i suggest that you rent a motorbike or a car

Gumuk Pasir ( Sand dunes )

Pok Tunggal Beach

Timang Beach

Mangunan Dlingo

Goa Jomblang

This place is really unique. You have to down a 100m+ cliff to visit this underground cave. Its quite expensive to go down around 40 usd but its totally worth it since they have to do everything manualy. And they limit how many people can go down each day. So its better to book the trip a day before
