THE SURA EVE IN PANCURAN PITOE
Pancuran Pitoe, or the seven showers, is a geothermal water source radiates directly from Mount Slamet. Locals perform cleansing ritual in the Hijriya new year eve as a common practice of Kejawen, a Javanese religion.
Visitors should walk 2,5 km to reach the shower site. Many locals sell foods to host resting pilgrims and tourists.
