Lisbon, the ancient city that has so many stories to tell. Where the sun shines at least 290 days a year and the temperature rarely falls below 15 degrees.

Lisbon, where gastronomy is dedicated to defining over a thousand ways of cooking the beloved cod.

Pastel de nata

(Portuguese pronunciation: [pɐʃˈtɛɫ dɨ ˈnatɐ]; plural: pastéis de nata) is a Portuguese egg tart pastry dusted with cinnamon. Pastéis de nata were created before the 18th century by Catholic monks at the Jerónimos Monastery (Portuguese: Mosteiro dos Jerónimos) in the civil parish of Santa Maria de Belém, in Lisbon.
