with roasted cherries
This is definitely the best time of year to eat fruit. The stalls of the market filled with color and smelling the fruit that has grown with the sun is absolutely intoxicating.
Ingredients 500 gr cherries 2 tblspoon brown sugar 1 teapoon corn starch 2 tblspoon butter ⅓ cup of flour ⅓ cup of milk 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 pinch of salt
Method Preheat oven to 200 º Celsius. Wash and pit the cherries and place on a tray. Add brown sugar and corn starch, mix and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes. Put 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan and bake until bubbling. Beat eggs with milk, flour, vanilla essence and salt until well blended. Shake the skillet to the butter cover the bottom uniformly and pour the dough over. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Serve the pancake with the cherries on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
