A grand day out
I thought I’d pop down to London and just let the day evolve. I’m not a great one for planning. #JFDI and all that. 🍋
I packed the bear essentials.
I was planning a chilled out kind of day.
Perhaps just build a few sandcastles and take a long bath.
Everywhere was packed.
It seemed there were a couple of big events in town.
It seemed a shame to miss out on the fun. I decided that the royal wedding was more my scene than the FA Cup final.
I wanted to make an entrance.
It was huge fun! 🥂
The Royal Wedding was fun. And so was the tea dance party. ☕️ 💃🏻 Congratulations Harry and Megan. 🇬🇧
Tea dance party 🍋🍋🍋
Too hot. I cooled down with a drink. 🍋
The night was young so I headed down to the South Bank.
I managed to get into the Nigel Kennedy gig.
In fact I was on the programme.
The concert blew my mind. It was late when I came out so I thought I had better stay the night somewhere.
I don’t know who these people were. But I like photo bombing.
I think I had a bit of a brawl with #TedSheeran (he came off worse). Thank goodness for London Ambulance Service! 🚑
The next morning, I was a bit shocked to find out where I was staying. I am scared of heights. 👀
I got myself a strong coffee and a bit of breakfast.
Another lovely day. Just as well. All the umbrellas were enormous and expensive.
In fact I needed to cool down.
There is always plenty going on in London. I wanted to try skateboarding.
Apparently people were impressed! 😂
I’ll try this next time…
I had used my iPhone so much that I needed to get it fixed. I called into the Apple centre.
Truly excellent customer service!
Fixing my phone was very expensive so I got myself a bit of temping work to pay for my train home. “Have a nice day!”
Can I get you a lemon drink, Sir? 🍋
I wanted to walk back over the bridge. But I only have short legs.
So I hopped on the bus.
I bought a cup of tea for the train home. I think I was bit ambitious when I ordered “large”.
Until next time
