Industrial

Kitchen makeover

I'm really into moody hues in interiors right now! The dark inky blues, barely black and intense charcoal give a wonderful atmosphere when paired with the right textures. I've just made over my kitchen as it was looking a bit tired and decided to paint it in railings by Farrow & Ball, I love the chalky depth to their paint!

Now add some paint!

I've added lots of textures to create an interesting interior which is both calm and interesting. I've brought in industrial elements in the form of shelving: old reclaimed wood from a factory ceiling and forged brackets made by a blacksmith.

I've used natures textures throughout to add another level of interest.

Vintage bun tins and different pottery add to a slightly eclectic feel and suit our messy creative personalities.

I'd be lost without this mod con so it's staying.

Oh I love this! Iā€™m right with you on the love affair with dark walls - and this vintage/eclectic feel is sooooo good šŸ™ŒšŸ»

@copperline thank you! Yes I'm so pleased with it. Had a few friends and family over this week and they loved it too, after thinking it would look naff šŸ™„ honestly.
