Avocado & Hummus Deviled Eggs

As the Holiday season approaches we are all preparing for parties and gatherings. Don't let your deviled eggs be #basic this Holiday Season! Whether you are hosting a party or bringing a dish, the Avocado & Hummus Deviled Eggs are sure to be a hit at any gathering!

step one: Gather all the ingredients: One dozen farm-fresh eggs 1/4 cup roasted garlic hummus 1/2 avocado 1/2 garlic clove 1/2 cup chopped green onion Paprika Salt & pepper

Pick farm-fresh eggs from free range hens for a better taste, but any eggs will work.

Step two: Boil eggs anywhere from 10-12 minutes depending on the size of your eggs.

Step three: Peel eggs. A tip to make peeling your eggs easier is to let them sit for 5-10 minutes in a bowl of cold water before trying to peel them.

Step four: Cut eggs in half. Remove yolks and place in bowl.

Step five: Slice avocado in half and remove the pit.

Step six: Scoop out one half of the avocado with a spoon and place in the bowl with the egg yolks.

Step seven: Press 1/2 clove of fresh garlic in bowl with egg yolk and avocado.

Step eight: Add roasted garlic hummus to bowl. Or use your favorite flavor hummus.

Step nine: Clean and chop green onions. I prefer chunky pieces, but you can also chop the onion as thin as you like.

Step ten: Add green onion to bowl and mix ingredients together.

Step eleven: Scoop egg, avocado and hummus mixture into the hard boiled egg halves.

Step twelve: Gather paprika, salt and pepper.

Step thirteen: Sprinkle paprika, salt and pepper on eggs. Add green onion pieces for a stylish garnish. You are now ready to wow your friends and family this Holiday Season!
