As a part of a wider campaign to promote the South Coast of New South Wales I was invited down to the Sapphire Coast to explore for 5 days! From Bermagui to Eden I was delighted by the pristine and unspoiled coastline, world class tourism operators and abundance of nature and wildlife. I hope you love my shots and tips! :)
Gateway to the Sapphire Coast: Horse Head rock.
Just south of Narooma, Eurobodalla you'll cross into the Sapphire Coast region and the first landmark you'll find is Camel Rock and Horsehead Rock in the quaint seaside town of Bermagui. Camel Rock is easily accessible by road with a quick walk on the sand but Horse Head rock is a sketchy scramble over the rocks, make sure you time your visit with the low tide! ;)
We did some incredible tours in region. This snorkeling tour was thanks to ACWA, Australian Coastal Wilderness Adventures. http://www.acwadventures.com 🦐🐠🌊
I also LOVED my paddle with Kiah Wilderness Tours! http://kiahwildernesstours.com.au 🚣🏼
And if you're keen to see a new perspective of the Sapphire Coast you have to hit up Merimbula Air Services for a scenic flight! 😱 http://www.mairserv.com.au
I tried not one, but TWO whale watching operators! http://www.catbalou.com.au https://merimbulamarina.com 🐋🐋🐋
All of this PLUS I stayed in a lighthouse in Ben Boyd National Park, chilled with some local photographers and saw wild wombats, kangaroos, echidnas and sea eagles. I have behind the scenes footage for DAYS!
