| once again |
When I travel, it's not usual for me to come back in the same places. I prefer discover new destinations and enjoy new atmospheres. Majorca is one of those place in the world where I'd never stop to go. I don't know precisely why but here I feel at home 💕 This lovely island of Spagna is various and lively and every time I went there I did always new things. This was my third time... but I'm sure that it's only a "bye bye" 😉
PALMA DE MALLORCA
Palma is the capital of the island and a city where I'd move tomorrow 😍 Life is relaxed but at the same time lively. Its urban architectures are unique: the gothic and beautiful cathedral dominates the mid-moon bay, the castle watches the city from its hill. Walking along the lovely honey-color streets is so pleasant! And stop in a good tapas bar even more 😉
The Bellver Castle is an incredible architecture in Gothic style located on a hill, in the west of the city. Built in the 14th century for King James II of Majorca, it is one of the few circular castles in Europe 💕Being inside this construction make me feel in another time and a little bit princess 👉🏻
The Carhedral of Santa Maria of Palma [La Seu]
The Arab Baths. These 10th-century are virtually all that remain of the Arab city of Medina Mayurqa (now known as Palma).
I think that markets are the souls of the places you go. So, visiting them is a must 😄 In Mallorca there are different markets located in some of the most lovely town of the island: Sineu, Manacor, Alcudia, Santanyì are the ones I visited. ➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️
Sineu is a delicious town in the center of the island. The market day is on Wednesday 🍓🍇👒🐟🌶😉
The market streets ❤️
Street food sweet specialities 😋
Straw bags are one of the most sold objects of local handicrafts. I'd buy all! 😍😍😍😍
Manacor market is on Monday
Manacor is a city in the north est of Majorca famous for its pearl factories and because it's the home town of Rafael Nadal, the famous tennis player.
The market of Alcudia, a fortified town in the north of the island, is twice a week: on Tuesday and Saturday 😄
Santanyì market is on Saturday 💙
This pretty city is located in the south est of the island not far from many of the most beautiful beaches of the of Majorca.
There are 262 beaches in Majorca with a total length of 50 km. From sand to rocks, it's not difficult to find a beach to suit all needs and tastes 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 Below you find the 4th I loved more 😍 ➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️
Playa de Muro
Cala des Moro
My passion for doors is really authentic 😉 And in Majorca my will of taking pictures of them was totally satisfied! Blue, green, brown... many colors, many pics! 😍
MY 3 TIPS
Things to do in this beautiful island are so many and at a first visit it's difficult to choose. Majorca is not so little and once here you have to experiment in order to understand which are your favorite places or activities. A part from the classic ones (i.e. beaches, points of interest etc.), I'm going to suggest you 3 things that I did this time - and I've never did before - and I like much 😄👍🏻 ➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️
1) Enjoy the atmosphere and the local foods at San Juan Market 🔝
2) Have a drink at "Abaco" in the center of Palma 😍
Hidden behind a huge old door, this bar is one of the most unusual cocktail bar I've never gone. Set in the heart of Palma, Abaco is famous for its cocktails and magic atmosphere! You step back in time to an era of opulence and grandeur thanks to its architecture, décor and ambience.
3) Watch the sunset in Port d'Andraxt 💕💕💕
