Villaggio Coppola was the symbol of urban ruin that has devastated one of the most beautiful italian areas : the domitiazian coast at Campania . Built in the 1970s had a terrible impact on the coast and irreparably alter its line. After 165 judgments in court, only at the beginning of the 2000s, the eight towers, that were the image of this urbanistic monster were demolished.
Today the "Villaggio Coppola" is habited by several thousand people and starts very slowly towards an environmental redevelopment of an area that still remains of a unique beauty. "Coppola" is the surname of the builder that made the complex. He died in 2013. His family has won the contract for the clearence of the site...
