Sun Valley Shelter Animals-Spring 2017

Photos from January-current

I am blessed enough to work full-time at a non-profit no kill animal shelter that has been around since 1995. Our goal is to give each animal we intake the individual care that they specifically need to help them grow, thrive, and to find a forever home that matches their needs. Keeping a lower number of dogs and cats allows us to dedicate more specialized time with our current animals, and enables us to learn what makes each individual animal special. We believe firmly in match making, and take the process very seriously. Our shelter is their home until they find their true "furever" home.❤🐾

Our handsome Subway-a 4 year old manx mix who is patiently waiting for his forever home. This fellow loves to follow you around like a shadow, and tell you all about his day in the process by meowing after you.

"As anyone who has ever been around a cat for any length of time knows-cats have enormous patience with the limitations of the human kind."

Cleveland Amory

Carnivale (also pictured on the next slide) - a 2.5 year old tortishell who wants nothing more than to curl up next to you and spend her days. Calm, loving, and an avid yoga lover (she stretches daily upon leaving her carrier); this sweet girl would make the best roommate you've ever had💗

Jack-O-Lantern🎃

First Commander-Fishtank Brigade

👑Queen Callie- an 8 year old dilute calico who enjoys sitting on her throne & survey her kingdom. Having the perfect balance of affection & independence is sure to make you fall head over heels for this royal gem.❤

Love your work! It must be nice to always be around pups and cats.

@GaGePetSitting Thank you! It is such a blessing. I could be having the worst day imaginable outside of this place, and once I come to work it all goes away. ❤
