THE WOMEN'S MARCH

Women's March on Washington

January 21 2017 To all my nasty women who don't behave. Put your heads together. Stand up. Don't be quiet. Be heard. Make changes. Together we can do this because we have to.

Today a man from North Carolina told me: "The weakest woman is stronger than the stronger man." I felt that quote was fitting for this scene. This was a beautiful day.

As said J.: "Behind every strong person there is a strong woman guiding them."

I moved here when I did because I wanted to be present as history was made. History didn't unfold the way we hoped, but as Gloria Steinem said today, "This is the upside of the downside. This is an outpouring of democracy like I’ve never seen in my very long life.” Wow, what a day. #womensmarch #womensrightsarehumanrights #peace #stellerstories #donaldtrump #2017

Indigenous women rise

Chelsie Riche, 21, and Em Ty, 21, came from New Jersey to support the Women's March. Chelsie said, "I'm fed up. I'm scared. I'm uncertain."

Photos don't do the energy justice. This day gave me hope. It showed me I'm not alone in my heartbreak - and our will power is worth way more than any one tiny hand mans hate and his Klan. But it's going to take more than one March and I'm ready to commit to that.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world" Gandhi

This bad hombre stands for women's rights because quality men don't fear gender equality.

Big thank you for the organizers who were expecting less then half the number that showed up and there weren't enough garbage/recycling scans.

Grace on the shoulders of her father Sign reads: "I'm with Her." from her daddy " #L❤️VE ARMY" from her uncle

Standing with a gigantic yet peaceful gathering of protestors, and friends. I was so inspired by this March. Beyond proud to be a Woman. It's more then ever of the rights and freedoms that I have and the fact that women and men of previous generations fought hard for me, my daughters, nieces, goddaughter, my best friends and all of our girlfriends to have these rights. Now it's my turn. We're here to stand up and raise our voices. We are Stronger Together.

Thinking about the powerful moments we experienced together in D.C. today, and ready to take tomorrow. I didn't realize how massive the crowd was until we started marching on the Mall. I cried. I'll never forget that moment, when I started believing the world might not go to complete shit. #womensmarchonwashington  ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

I marched with over 1 million people today and it was an experience of a life time... this circumstances sucked so badly but the entire energy was so loving and connected. For the last one [ no caption necessary] This one, was before the moment the crowd stormed the yard in front of the White House and pushed down all the fences and barricades. A very large thank you to each person cross on this historic day. More snaps on my accounts: Instagram and Twitter
