You me Paris
A stroll in Paris with Chaumet New city guide
You me Paris Such a romantic name for a city guide...
I am very honored to be one of the ambassadors chosen by Chaumet to promote their new city guide: You me Paris. A different and more poetic way to visit Paris for a new experience of my beloved city
You me Paris is a new application, beautifully designed with a perfect selection of addresses carefully curated by Chaumet. THE perfect new digital city guide.
Here la maison Chaumet shares exclusive experiences for a honeymoon, off the beaten path romantic walks, perfectly selected shopping addresses, museums, and of course an excellent selection of bars and restaurants plus the most charming hotels to help you have a fantastic stay.
Although I have been living in Paris for over 20 years, there are still some museums I haven't been to. This collaboration was the occasion for me to discover "le musée de la vie romantique", a charming museum located in a private house, at the end of a cobbled courtyard with a cute café.
The museum has been designed by Jacques Garcia and it is like spending one hour in the 19th century...
I also followed You me Paris to discover a new café, Peonies, a café and florist, recently opened where to take a break for a delicious lunch or an afternoon snack with a hot chocolate, a coffee or a flower flavored tea and a selection of homemade pastries
Cute details, flowers everywhere, great magazines to make you feel at a friend's home
I went to Epices Roellinger near the Palais Royal to fill my bag with spices. Not the ones you find in the supermarkets, but real spices, with the name of the person who grows them, who makes the blend. It is one of my mother in law's favorite addresses. I just discovered it thanks to You me Paris:)
And the impression to have travelled far away from Paris...
A visit to the Louvre is always a good idea!
And I was really happy to find some of my favorite addresses in this guide. Some places dear to my heart where I don't go very often. It is always a pleasure to go there and experience Paris as a tourist...
Palais Royal garden "Love Chairs". Or how to enjoy poetry with your headphones
Paris covered passages, a perfect winter stroll
And end up here, at Pep's a very talented umbrella maker
And if you have time and are looking for something unique with a soul, Saint Ouen flee market is a great experience.
On the left bank, Deyrolle is a confidential address, an incredible curiosity cabinet where we buy butterflies. But it is really more than that!
And if you have never been there, Astier de Villatte makes the most beautiful ceramics, with Paris brown clay and their typical white glaze. Too beautiful to break.
Because you need no reason to have a delicious treat, du Pain et des Idées is always a good idea!
I enjoyed this daylight walk in Paris with You me Paris. But their restaurants ( and hotels!) selection is perfect too. We often go out for dinner with my husband to try new restaurants. He always have the ideas. Now I have a new long list of places to suggest too!
My experience with You me Paris is not over... I have already booked a visit of Chaumet's private apartments on Place Vendôme, just because it is one of Paris most beautiful hidden gems.
You Me Paris is free, has a French and English version. You can download the application with the link below itunes.apple.com/fr/app/you-me-paris/id1186801254?mt I highly recommend it. Just to have a look at it is like opening a beautiful magazine. Une invitation au voyage
