Recently I've been to Toscana for a long weekend. First of all we visited Firenze: we explored the city center for a couple of days and found some perfect spots to admire her beauty from different points of view, in different situations. If you are planning to go there, here are some things you should absolutely do before you leave the city of art.

wake up at Valdirose (@irene ) and take your time for a perfect break(not)fast.

Spend a morning talking and drinking coffee in a vintage cup with Paolo and Irene is the best way to start a day.

From Valdirose you can easily reach Firenze and stroll around the city.. D A Y 1:

walk slowly along the riverside: enjoy the light that frames the buildings, their perfect reflection on the Arno river and meet great artists on your way

give a chance to the famous (and delicious) panino at Ino.

reach Piazzale Michelangelo, and get the best view of the city with the sunset light: just rest, Firenze will change for you.

have a cup of tea and a good piece of cake between the extravagant books and objects of Brac: a bookshop cafè out of times.

D A Y 2: Firenze is always super busy: the best way to look at the city is from above:

climb 414 stairs and reach the top of Giotto's bell tower: from a bird's eye view Firenze is something incredible.

this is also the best place to discover tiny people's stories from a distance..

stop at La Menagere, have a cappuccino or a pastry and be part of this beauty for a while

Finish the day with other stairs: the view from Brunelleschi's dome is quite similar to the one from the bell tower, but you will also see the inner part of the cupola:

walk beside the characters of the fresco is quite impressive..

and when you'll finally reach the top, you'll be able to see almost all the roofs of the matchless city in a perfect silence.

We explored: • Valdirose • Lungarno • Ino • Piazzale Michelangelo • Libreria Brac • Campanile di Giotto • La Menagere • Cupola di Santa Maria Novella If you need further info, or just want to say hi, you can find me on Instagram.
