A trip to Hanoi
I went to Hanoi, Vietnam last October 2016. These are the things that I saw.
Hanoi's daily life
Hanoi's daily life consists of people going around either riding a motorcycle or a bike, some having market goods being carried in their bicycle's basket.
A lot of things in the wet market of Hanoi are being sold. Some would go around with their bicycles carrying vegetables asking you if you want to buy a piece from them.
This is Hanoi's Opera House; it was around eight in the morning and it was still closed.
This was on our way to Ha Long Bay. Houses are built on structures made of wood, cement, and has ornate designs on top of it. Some would even look like a temple but instead, small.
The cruise ship we took upon arriving at Ha Long Bay. They served good food. 😋
A floating boat in the mouth of the dock, before going to Ha Long Bay.
The entrance to Ha Long Bay, magnificent mountains along the jaded ocean is a thing to behold.
We took a ride on this boat and had us delivered to experience the caves in Ha Long Bay.
Well, the beauty of Ha Long Bay is stunning. We went home satisfied with the planned trip.
The next day, we tried to go around places of Hanoi, eating pho noodles in some restaurants before going back home.
An old lady meditating at Hoan Kiem Lake
Turtle island where there was this legend about the person who founded Vietnam.
Ly Thái Tõ's monument just beside the Hoan Kiem Lake
Civet coffee was really that expensive 🤷🏻♂️
Culture and foods are the most exciting thing about Hanoi.
