We spent a romantic November weekend in Switzerland as part of an invitation by Radisson Blu hotels. This is the season where the Christmas markets are already open, chestnuts are roasted on every street corner by vendors in their stalls and the cities are decorated with sparkling lights all over. Join in for some magic! 🇨🇭✨ #stellerlights
We started our day at lake Zürich...
We watched birds...
... and people 🚶🏽♀️
This is what winter looks like...
Then we walked around the city...
... and watched the xmas decoration.
Großmünster in Zürich
A perfect day ends at a Christmas market...
Drinking hot Glühwein and eating freshly roasted chestnuts... ❤️
... marveling at the Christmas lights.
We hiked up Uetliberg in the fog.
And even climbed up this tower for a "view" of Zürich
Well it was worth a try 😂 (and costs 2 euros)
But we loved taking photos in the fog...
Next stop: Library of the law university in Zürich (By architect Calatrava)
And then we finally got our view of Zürich! 🇨🇭
This city is a one hours drive away from Zürich...
This bridge is the most famous sight.
Usually you can see more of the surrounding mountains.
But the sights of the lake and the city are also beautiful on a cloudy day.
We started the day with a "sunrise" boat tour.
Kim enjoyed it as much as we did.... even though there was no sunrise 😉
We shared the lake only with one rowing boat and sleeping swans.
After the boat ride it was time to explore the mountains...
We took the cable car up to Mount Pilatus.
@me_and_mango fed the crows... ☺️
... and we finally saw some snow (and the layer of fog from above).
Winter is a magical time in Switzerland and I can recommend a visit very much! 🇨🇭 Thanks to Radisson Blu for bringing us here ❤️
One of my highlights: The ice skating princesses in Lucerne 😍
