CRUISE LIFE

Barcelona - Mallorca - Rome Cinque Terre - Savona - Marseille

๐ŸŒŠ Imagine visiting Spain, Italy and France's most beautiful coastal regions without ever having to pack your luggage or change hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by my first trip on a cruise ship - and now I understand what the fever is all about. Let me introduce you to "Cruise Life".

First we flew to Barcelona - this is where our cruise started.

Before we got on the ship we had time to discover the city.

We saw the Sagrada Famรฌlia.

And the Casa Batllรฒ.

And then we went on board of the Costa Diadema.

The whistling sound of the waves is a gentle and constant companion.

Waking up at a new destination every morning is quite a special feeling.

Stop #1

Palma de Mallorca ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

The capital of Mallorca features cobble stone roads...

Lemon trees...

...and a lot of dogs ๐Ÿ˜

And of course the famous Cathedral!

From Palma to Italy it's a longer ride, so you'll have one day at sea.

Time to discover the ship!

Or just enjoy the endless views.

Until the sun sets...

Stop #2

Civitavecchia | Rome ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

The Trevi Fountain is a must visit.

But we enjoyed ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿผ the streets more...

Discovering some #fiat500.

Ending up at Piazza Navona.

And eating Artichokes in the Jewish quarter ๐Ÿ˜

Stop #3

La Spezia | Cinque Terre ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

First we took the train to Vernazza...

and watched some #outtodry.

and #emojisinthewild ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿผ

But we also visited Manarola.

And witnessed the sunset in Riomaggiore.

Stop #4

Savona ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Most people go to Genua from Savona, but we decided to stay.

And get some true #whatitalyis experience.

We even discovered this art installation by chance.

And #lonelychairs everywhere!

Stop #5

Marseille ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

We started our tour at the old port.

To see this! (Miroir Ombriรจre)

Then we walked around the famous "Le Panier" district.

To make some #doortraits!

Stay tuned for more detailed stories for each destination. There's a lot more to show you! @lionheaded hi Cruisebuddy ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜˜โค๏ธ

  • copperline

There were *other people* on the ship after all! ๐Ÿ˜„ Love how you have captured the real moments of your destinations along with the "must sees". ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

  • Sara_daja3

Such a beautiful story ๐Ÿ˜ the only word in my mind now is "amazing", amazing photos, amazing place. So many places in one trip ๐Ÿ˜

  • wulan_dewi_sunu

    @ladyvenom lovely ๐Ÿ‘

  • Leontine

I do not love the cruising life, but I love your photos and your way of telling. ๐Ÿ’•

  • ladyvenom

@copperline ahhaha there were about 1.500 people working on the ship - plus about 3.000 passengers... but it never really felt crowded, which kind of amazed me! โ˜บ๏ธ But when it comes to the destinations you really can only get a first glimpse in one day, it's like a test vacation to see which destination you fall for and want to revisit ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • ladyvenom

@waves28 thank you so much! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผโœจ Yes, you really get around on those ships - quite cool to see so much of Europe in just one week. But as stated above, you only get a small impression of each destination - when you just have one day to explore each... โ˜บ๏ธ I definitely want to revisit some of those with more time!

  • ladyvenom

    @wulan_dewi_sunu thanks a lot! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  • ladyvenom

@leontine have you ever been on a cruise? I was super skeptical at the beginning, but turns out you can create your individual program and find your freedom within those constrictions as well. You don't have to be part of the things you don't like (we never did any cha-cha class with the instructors or any of the tours offered by the cruise line) and rather stayed by ourselves โ˜บ๏ธ This way it's like a swimming hotel with a lot of restaurants ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • copperline

You did soooooo well to somehow lose those other 4,500 people! It's amazing that this ship didn't feel crowded - it must have been huge! Well done for choosing such tranquil photo moments ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

  • Leontine

I thank you for your time โค๏ธ

  • ladyvenom

@copperline ahaha it IS indeed a big ship - it's easy to loose a lot of people ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have a great evening dear ๐Ÿ˜˜

  • ladyvenom

    @leontine my pleasure โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  • wal_uh

I even don't wanna stare to other things until I opened to the end of story . So amazed me ,indeed ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜†

  • ladyvenom

@wal_uh thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผโ˜บ
