Riso al forno con il ragù

🍅 Bake Rice in Bolognese Sauce is called 'Riso al forno con il ragù' in Italian. It's a simpler version of Italian classic dish. 🍅

INGREDIENTS : 2 cups Cooked Rice 50 gr Mozarella cheese 30 gr Parmesan cheese (me: melted cheese & bachamel sauce) 2 Tbsp of Freshly Chopped Parsley Beef Bolognaise: 200 gr Beef Mince 4 large Tomato  3 tbsp tomato sauce 1 tbsp tomato paste 2 tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce 1 Large Carrot, finely chopped 1 Onions, finely chopped 1 green bell pepper, fnely chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 50 ml beef stock 1 tsp Oregano  ½ tspTyme 3 Bay leaf ½ tsp salt ½ tbsp sugar pepper to taste 2 tbsp butter

🍅 Fresh Tomato Sauce Homemade 🍅

How to make : 1. Boil peeled tomatoes and blend until it reaches the desired texture. Chop the carrots, garlic, and onion. 2. Bolognese Sauce: Heat butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat then cook garlic, onion and carrot until soft, about 3 mins. Add beef mince, season with salt, stirring often, until well browned. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, green bell pepper, worcestershire sauce and stock. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until thickened, adjust seasoning. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.

Serving method : 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. 2. Bake: Mix the rice and 3 tbsp beef bolognaise in a large bowl/backing dish. Top the rice with bolognese sauce. 3. Pour Bachamel sauce over the top, topping with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling for 20-30 minutes or until golden & set. 4. Remove from oven, cover with foil and let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Top with chopped parsley and serve with fresh salad.
