#wineandglaciers part 4
As we came around the north of Iceland, the Fjords seemed to be calling us. This remote land of hills, grass and clouds pulled us into its vastness.
More so than the rest of Iceland, the west Fjords are very sparsely populated. For hours, we wound around the hills and over bridges. Each pass, corner or tunnel brought a new set of yellow hillside or steel blue water.
We made roadside friends
In land this remote, you feel the importance and the fragility of your own life
Throughout the trip, we had been photographing ourselves for the outdoor brand KAVU. It was great taking turns as photographer and model.
After a week on the road, we had come to love our moving home and the countryside it revealed to us.
