I've been desperate for September to arrive so that I can talk about Autumn and the wonderful sense of change it brings, without feeling like I'm betraying Summer... This morning I tried a new cycling route and was inspired by the new season softly soaking up the countryside...

I wanted to capture something of the Autumnal sense I'd felt but using mostly bits from my own garden...

I got distracted with tidying my window boxes though...

I like them a bit wild, but not really this scruffy, so I split and added some succulents and cyclamen...
