Interaction of people within architectural spaces Caroline de Bertodano

The interaction of people within architectural detail. The cohesion of contemporary architectural line, texture & form in the materials used in contemporary construction.   Whether a skyscraper, art pavilion or a material chosen for  the pavement or railings surrounding a structure.  How light & people interact with these materials in how they have been aligned. Architects go to extraordinary  lengths to perfect the details of a structure, most often  missed by the passer by.  Placement of these materials and forms can enhance or detract from spacial contentment & awareness.   This subconsciously influences how the passerby feels within the space and therefore feels within him/herself.

"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the entire staircase"

Martin Luther King
