Lovely Levanto

A weekend on the Italian Riviera

Just three hours from Milan on the Intercity train, Levanto is my favorite Italian Riviera town for a quick weekend getaway. Leave on Friday night and head back to Milan on Sunday evening just in time to be in the office Monday morning.

Kicked off Saturday morning with a run that started in Levanto...

...and continued through the converted railway tunnel to arrive in...

...Bonnassola! Headed further west until hitting 5k then did a 180 to retrace my steps for an even 10k.

Bring on the beach! πŸ–πŸ‘™πŸ“š

The day wouldn't be complete without intermittent strolls through the adorable town..

After lots of focaccia, an evening stroll, some trofie al pesto and a beautiful sunset...

...I did it all again on Sunday!

A bientΓ΄t, Levanto!
