"James Bond" Island

Khao Phing Kan is an island in Thailand, in Phang Nga Bay northeast of Phuket. About 40 metres from the shores of Khao Phing Kan lies a 20 metres tall islet called Ko Tapu. The islands are limestone tower karsts and are a part of Ao Phang Nga National Park. Since 1974, when it was featured in the James Bond movies The Man with the Golden Gun and Tomorrow Never Dies, Khao Phing Kan has been popularly called James Bond Island.

So, we went there thru Phuket

Phuket, a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mostly situated along the clear waters of the western shore. The island is home to many high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants. We spend a night at Phuket before sail away to James Bond island.

Street Food

Early in the morning, the tour picked us from hotel and went to Phuket pier, Ao Po, then we sail away to James Bond Island by cruise through Naka island and Hong Island...

Let's go sailing

We were transferred into a long tail boat before reached each island because bigger ship couldn't approach the beach

"Cloudy day, maybe it will rain"

Now, we go to next destination...Hong Island

Hong Island is located in Phang Nga Bay. The island gets its name, which means “room” in Thai, due to the fact that the centre of the island is hollow so there are room-like chambers. These hongs are completely cut off from the outside world and can only be accessed by paddling through sea caves using sea canoes. Unfortunately, light locals rain falling down when we touch the island...

Leaving Hong island and headed to James Bond Island...

Here we come
