Juicing a Lilikoi

Passion fruit, or lilikoi as we know it in Hawaii, is a delightful fruit for baking. I love to use this extremely tart, yet incredibly sweet fruit to make lilikoi curd for cakes, cookies, trifles, and frosting. Look no further if you ever wondered how to juice this luscious fruit.

The wrinklier it looks, the better and sweeter it is.

Cut fruit in half and scoop out pulp and seeds.

To remove seeds, give the pulp a quick swish in the blender.

Pour pulp into a sieve.

Use the juice for baking.
