Berchtesgaden National Park - Bavaria

After road tripping about 2 hours from Munich, we finally arrived at Königsee in the afternoon. The Königssee is a natural lake in the extreme southeast Berchtesgadener Land district of the German state of Bavaria, near the Austrian border. Most of the lake is within the Berchtesgaden National Park.

That was very foggy afternoon, the highest and most extensive mountain range the Bavarian Alps, was covered by.

We actually want to go to the ice cave, and we think it's going to be effective, because one of us is happen to go there before. Finally we took a boat to St. Bartholomew's Church and continue walking to the ice cave from there. We have not much time, so we decide to walk trough the new route, my friend said that we can save much more time via this way.

It's about 1 hour walking, but suddenly my friend not sure what we have been through. It's his first time on trying the shortcut. Everyone pull a ling face and decide just to go back to catch the last boat 😔😔.

Quite exasperating, but we realized that we went to Konigsee too late., ( much better in the morning ). Hopefully we can reach out the ice cave the other time... Cheers 🍺🍺 . Thanks you!

Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.
