Sunday Ride

Central Park, NYC

Central Park Bike Ride

Cindy and I do most of our riding on high end road bikes in the hills and coastal roads of Santa Barbara. This morning, we took out our Tern folding bikes up 6th Avenue and then looped thru Central Park.

Weekends in the Park

On the weekends, Central Park is closed to vehicle traffic. Bikes, roller blades, skateboards, scooters, carriages, and running shoes take over the 6 mile loop. The main loop takes you up the east side of the park and then back down the west side. Plenty of places to stop for a quiet picnic or people watching session along the way.

Tern Eclipse X22

The Eclipse X22 is designed to be the fastest folding bike in the world. With hand-built 26” wheels and race-tuned geometry, it’s a full sized road bike, but it folds down small in 10 seconds. It boasts an Ultegra drivetrain, and—just in time for the UCI’s new regulations—a set of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. With a stealth black finish, hydroformed fork, red Syntace accents, and perfected engineering, the X22 inaugurates a new chapter in Tern design.

Tern Eclipse X22

Between the Central Park Loop and the Hudson River Bike Path we will get in plenty of city miles this summer and into the fall.
