The Great Volcano

Raung (Indonesian: Gunung Raung) is one of the most active volcanoes on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is located in the province of East Java and has a 2-kilometre-wide (1.2 mi) and 500-metre-deep (1,600 ft) caldera surrounded by a grayish rim. Last eruption: 2015

Finally arrived at our guide's house. And we knew exactly the first thing to do : EAT! ;)
And the following day, the great journey begins.
Arrived at 1st Post. The house of Pak Soeto at the Village of Wonokromo.
And the trekking to the 3.344 M Above sea level is ON!
The following day, last camp before summit attack.
Summit attack was started at 2 am, but i started to use my camera around 6 am. Check the next pages. Some photos from the magnificent Raung.
