A story of a Roadtrip
☘ Ireland is all about narrow streets, lavish greens, sheep and impressive coastal structures. We've been on the road for a couple of days to explore the west of the island, from the Cliffs of Moher until the Dingle Peninsula. Come with me on a ride!
Slea Head Drive
A coastal road that leads to many great viewpoints.
And also to Dunquin Pier.
And to old stone farm buildings.
You can also stop in Dingle and take a Dolphin Cruise to visit "Fungie"!
Stop at John Benny's in Dingle!
On the way to the Dingle Peninsula you should also take a detour and check out "Connor Pass".
And it's not a cliché: There's herds of sheep at every corner!
Once in the west a stop at the "Cliffs of Moher" is a must!
Take a long walk alongside the rugged cliffs.
If you're lucky you'll meet "Cliffy" while he chases seagulls.
Stay until the sun sets. You'll be practically alone there!
The calm after sunset
But the west also has some sandy beaches, that are worth a visit.
A huge thanks goes to @Omega! Our trip all about #findingtime in Ireland was made possible by the new "Globemaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer".
Stay tuned for part 2 - all about the North of Ireland.
