LIVE STEAM IN PETERBOROUGH
The West Lancs layout goes to the National Garden Railway Show
After a few trial outings with Middleforth at smaller events, this weekend was The Big One, the 16mm Association's annual show. The layout performed very well, as did the operators (most of the time).
A feature of the layout is the pair of turntables, manually worked
Preparation is all important!
A tram adds a certain style don't you think?
A prototype Kerr Stuart has a test run in grey primer
Roundhouse's latest object of desire has its first public showing
Yes it was really as busy as this!
Catching up with old friends
The younger element are encouraged to have a good look
A ballast train threads its way through the houses
Note the delicate touch for perfect positioning...
Working while being watched is never easy!
Black always looks good on a loco (and hides the dirt)
