Caption: How long before my workout should I eat? I recommend 45 minutes to an hour prior. This gives enough time for the food to digest, so you don’t get nauseous during your workout.
If you eat too close to your workout, there’s a good chance you’ll feel the food moving around in your stomach in the middle of your workout(NOT a good feeling!😫)
Caption: What if I exercise first thing in the morning?🌥 It depends. If you’re doing a light workout like a walk or quick jog, at least drink a glass of water before you head out the door.
For a more intense workout, not fueling up before you start can lead to a lack in energy and even make you lightheaded😷
Caption: Why what you eat after your workout is important... Your body uses a lot of energy during a workout, so if you don’t properly fuel it within an hour or two your muscles won’t recover properly. You want to MAXIMIZE your results for all that hard work you’re putting in, right?!
Even a small snack within 15-30 minutes after a workout goes a long way, and helps to speed up your metabolism🔥
