My 88-hour layover
I'd always heard Singapore had little going on, that you could see it all in a few hours. My friends encouraged me to stay a day at most. A friend from college had recently moved to the Asian city with her husband, so I decided I'd lay over for the long weekend.
Day One Neighborhood Wandering Tea Chapter Buddha's tooth temple Hawker Spots
As we wandered between Chinatown and the quays, Melissa and I discovered our shared love of tea. She knew just the spot to indulge. The women at Tea Chapter taught us the proper techniques, and we sipped on a variety of Oolong once served to Queen Elizabeth II at this very spot.
