Apple Rose Cakes

Clean 3-4 Apples
Cut them into half
Remove the core and slice them thin.
Put the slices into a glass bowl, pour water over together with the juice from half a lemon.
Cook the apple slices in a microwave for about 3 min. or boil them soft in a casserole.
Roll out a puff pastry thin.
Cut it into 5-6 cm wide strips.
Spread with apricot syrup. (see the appendix how to make it)
Roll the dough tight.
Place them in a muffin baking tin.
Put them in a preheated oven at 375F / 190 C and bake them for 35-45 min. until done.
When done - take them out and let them rest before serving

- how to make apricot syrup
Use some sundried apricots. Cut them into thin slices and put them in a casserole covered with water. Add sugar - half the weight of the apricots and boil slowly until done. Blend the mix and let it cool down before using it.
