    @copperline Thank you so much. You always say the sweetest things! I wish I could send you some cake!

    So do I! I've just had to have a bowl of granola because I can't handle it any more! (It's the 7pm mega-munchies time when dinner is in about an hour!) I love how decorative this cake looks with the apple slices lined up on top. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

    @copperline I know that early evening munchie feeling all too well! It usually hits me at around 5:30pm. I was so happy with how this little cake turned out, because it's so simple. Just some sliced apple 🍏

    Just tried baking it and ours is much lighter than yours. We substituted agave nectar for the maple syrup could that have made all the difference? Still looks good!!

    Loving everything NOT pumkin. ;)

    @Bente Thank you so much for the kind words xx

  • wida

    @deborah_lewis Hi! So sorry for only responding now. So glad that you tried it. It could definitely be the agave nectar since maple syrup is a bit more caramel like in flavor and color. It could also depend on your gluten free flour mix. The mix I use has quite a high chickpea flour content, which is also darker in color. Hope the answer is a bit helpful xx

  • wida

    @LeTortediToni Thank you plenty xx

    I'm wondering if I could use regular flour instead. Hmm... I'll give it a shot!
