Caption: When my textile artist friend Bec was asked by our local council to come up with a community art installation with the theme: 'Make do & Mend' which related to the times in the war, when one just had to make do, Bec come up with a brilliant idea! #stellerlocal

Caption: The installation was showcased at the Arts Centre at Beaudesert, Queensland thanks to 50 local woman. When sitting on the rocking chair, looking through the colourful beads, you can also listen to the stories Bec recorded about woman in the war, who 'Made do & Mend'
