In 2014 photographer Neil Buchan Grant was invited to take part in the Be Creative Festival of Fashion in Sibiu Transylvania. Set in the grounds of the 18th century Brukenthal Palace, Neil shot both fashion shows from behind the scenes in very low light using one of the most light sensitive cameras available

Fashion collections were provided by graduate designers from across Romania

As part of Winchester Fashion Week prints from this collection were shown in a 6 week long solo exhibition at The Link Gallery in Winchester

One section from each evening was reserved for the kids, most of whom were children of the organisers or their friends. They enjoyed their time on the catwalk immensely

Stunning work. As ever. πŸŒŸπŸ’–πŸΆ And which camera was it? 😊

  • buchangrant

Thanks @lifeoutofbounds Monica it was shot on 2 cameras, the olympus OMD and the Sony A7s with Leica 50mm 1.4

  • lifeoutofbounds

Aaah... The Sony A7! Heard of that one. Don Smith, a California landscape photographer has been testing the new Sony A7R II for the past couple of weeks and he raves about it. He will be test it also on sport and portrait photography and then give the results. Can't wait to hear. BTW, love all the images in your story, but that cover one is a killer! πŸ’œ
